We emailed you on 22 October to confirm that all driving tests were being suspended in Wales from 6pm on Friday 23 October and will restart again on Monday 9 November and to explain what this means for you and your pupils.
Tests booked between 9 and 13 November
We will email everyone with a test booked between 9 and 13 November to share the Welsh Government guidance on lessons during the firebreak and the rules about private practice between 23 October and 9 November.
We’ll also be encouraging your pupils to get in touch with you to talk about whether they need any additional practice before they test.
If they do not feel ready they can change the test time and date of their test at: https://www.gov.uk/change-driving-test
Check GOV.UK for the latest about:
• theory tests
• driving tests
• instructor guidance
The Welsh Government has also published information on financial support that you can access.
The NJC continues to be dedicated to help you in these challenging times and we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy.
