Today’s bits and bobs 1 July 2020
As you can see money guru Martin Lewis knows we exist! We know that a lot of people are concerned about applying for the second SEISS grant if they’re starting back to work. Lewis says: “even if you’re working all hours and bringing some money in, if your business isn’t where it should be and coronavirus is to blame, then you’re entitled to say yes to the grant. And the payment isn’t structured to be proportionate to the impact, it’s binary – if you’re due money, you’re due it all; if you’re not, you’re not due a penny.” Read the full article here. There is also an interesting piece on the best banks to use for Bounce Back loans.
Please don’t ring the Registrar’s office! They are not fully operational and any calls should be made to the Contact Centre. The Registrar’s team are not set up to receive calls, if you have a query about your licence you should email padi@dvsa.gov.uk. Please be patient, if you have emailed in it will be dealt with. The ADI team have had over 300 emails this week already and they will be dealt with in order.
