You will no doubt have heard that Wales will go into lockdown with a 2 week circuit break. Answers to the obvious questions –
Can I have driving lessons?
No – during the short period of this lockdown, driving lessons should not take place.
I have a driving test booked during this period – can it go ahead?
No – you should rearrange your test for 9 November or later. There is currently no charge for rearranging your test with DVSA.
Full details on Welsh lockdown restrictions.
And guidelines on restrictions within the tiered areas, including information on private cars and business.
Our Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday 5 December by Zoom. Member groups and individual members are invited to attend and should email the Secretary.
During lockdown we promoted the NJC talk line, for anyone needing a sympathetic ear. A number of the folk we had at the end of the phone line are trained counsellors, some have worked with Samaritans. They were able to provide a valuable service that was much appreciated by those who accessed it. If you are in need of some support please feel free to contact us and we will put you in touch with someone who listen to you.
The NJC continues to be dedicated to help you in these challenging times and we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy. Please feel free to contact us for help and support.
