Listening Ear – Member Support for Driving Instructors

Sometimes, you just need someone to talk to. ADINJC’s Listening Ear initiative provides members with a friendly, supportive and non-judgemental space to talk about anything that may be troubling them, whether that’s stress, mental health concerns or the everyday challenges of being a driving instructor.

Our volunteer ADIs and PDIs are here to listen, offer reassurance and, where appropriate, signpost you towards additional professional support.

A Listening Ear When You Need One

Our volunteers are there to listen. They will not provide advice, as they need to remain within their professional boundaries, but where appropriate they may be able to point you in the direction of further specialised help.

Sometimes, simply having someone to talk to and an opportunity to vent can be helpful in itself.

How to Use the Service

If you would like to use the Listening Ear service, you can contact any of our volunteers using the details below. If they do not answer, please leave a voicemail, and they will call you back as soon as possible.
