NJC Talk Line – an ear without judgement

If you need a chat, worried, feeling isolated, please call someone.  We are here for you.  We have a team of people, all ADIs or retired ADIs, some counsellors, some Samaritan volunteers and all friendly and caring.  Call any one of them, the list is not in any order, they will be pleased to listen and talk to you.  They can’t solve your problems, but they can support you with kindness and listening.  You’re not in this alone and you will come through.

Governing Committee member, George Simpson has been working for us on getting information that might help you.

Firstly, he has been researching what the car leasing companies have been doing to help.  These are his findings –

RED – Positive action with franchise fees and discussion with instructors.

BSM – Action has been taken directly with ADI’s both leasing and franchising. Call for more detail.

CA Cars – Providing payment holidays. Visit web site. Info@cacars.co.uk

Hitachi capital – Offering 30 day breathing space on fees on a payment recovery plan over contract term.

CVSL car & van leasing – Work with Hitachi Capital, 30 days breathing space and a payment recovery plan over term.

Hippo Leasing – No information received yet, follow up call in place.

Dual drive – Working with creditors, to explore options, more details to follow within 48 hours.

If you are talking to your leasing company, remember that they need you and you need them.  When this is all over you will need their services, and they will need you as a customer.

George has also got together a list of possible job opportunities.  These will be listed on the web site and will be updated when we can.
