It was brought to our attention by a member that there is a test booking app called Testi that is allowing people that are neither critical workers nor candidates with tests on hold, to book tests. We have alerted DVSA to this situation and have the following response:
“We are aware that an app is circumventing the booking system and we are taking steps to block them from doing this. We are also reporting the app to Google and Apple.
Test bookings are currently open for critical workers and on hold tests only and no other tests should be booked.
As we set out on Friday we will cancel bookings that do not match our records, until we open the booking system to the general public.”
We certainly hope that this will sort out some of the critical worker issues that you have been telling us about recently.
