In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the uncertainty which continues to surround this unfortunate situation, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s ADINJC & Intelligent Instructor National Conference & Expo and Intelligent Instructor Awards. Originally planned to run 20th September 2020, we feel that the anticipated time it will take for the situation to improve sufficiently to enable mass gatherings to be held safely precludes us from running these events successfully. Both will now be held Sunday, 25th April 2021.

We had serious concerns about running both events successfully later this year, which undoubtedly would require certain social distancing restrictions to be in place by September. Naturally there would be nervousness from all attendees which would impact the success of the events, so we feel it right and proper that we move these events into 2021.

800+ people were anticipated to attend the conference and expo, with 300+ guests expected at the awards in the evening. We have to put the safety of these first and foremost, so have made the early decision to move the event into next year. We apologise for any inconvenience caused but hopefully our early decision to move the dates will help reduce any impact.

Both events will continue to be hosted at the Heart of England Conference & Events Centre, Meriden, Warwickshire. We hope to see as many of you there at both events when we are confident our industry will be thriving once more. You can still register for free to attend the ADINJC & Intelligent Instructor National Conference & Expo by clicking here and whilst entries for the Intelligent Instructor Awards have paused and will reopen later this year, you can still reserve your place at the gala event here.

Whilst there are some serious challenges ahead for us all in the industry, we hope that by April next year these will have well and truly subsided and we can come together as one. Please put 25th April 2021 in your diary and we look forward to welcoming you to our events, when we can celebrate what’s great about our industry and be stronger from overcoming the present challenges.

May we take this opportunity to wish you all the very best. We hope you all keep safe and we hope you will be back out instructing safely in the not too distant future like before this pandemic struck.

Kind regards,

Richard Storrs, Founder, Intelligent Instructor

Lynne Barrie, Chair ADINJC
